Moorilla Harvest on the Lawns

We’re throwing a party on the lawns to mark Moorilla’s 64th vintage in the vineyard and the special cellar release of their 2012 wines.

Enjoy Moorilla tastings, Italian inspired food from Mona's Heavy Metal Kitchen (a nod to Moorilla’s founder Claudio Alcorso), a seafood and sparking bar and an afternoon of free live music featuring:

Brad Gillies: 12–1pm
Funeral Jeans: 1–2pm
Justin O'Garey & The Magic Band: 2–3pm
The Bad Dad Orchestra: 3.15–4.30pm

This event is a homage to the winery’s long tradition of open days and harvest celebrations — first led by Moorilla founder Claudio Alcorso, who opened the Moorilla gates each year for music and a community feast — this will be an easy, generous afternoon outdoors, open to all and free to attend.

• Moorilla wines by the glass or curated tasting flights
• Lawn-friendly food from Mona’s Heavy Metal Kitchen
• A dedicated 2012 cellar-release tasting at Moorilla cellar door
• A guided tour during vintage with Winemaker Conor van der Reest (commencing at 11am from Moorilla cellar door)
